careFIJI is an app that lets you know if you have been in contact with anyone carrying the COVID-19 virus. In particular, the tool helps you prevent and pinpoint new contact points on the islands of Fiji.

The careFIJI interface is quite simple and the app functions in a similar way to TraceTogether. In fact, the tool also makes use of Bluetooth technology to geolocate those infected and link people who have been in contact with them.

As is common in these types of app, registering for careFIJI is completely voluntary for users. However, the tool will be more effective as more people have it activated. Making use of Bluetooth technology, this app is able to identify if you have been in contact with a Coronavirus carrier in a given time.

careFIJI lets inhabitants of Fiji know if they have been in contact with other COVID-19 carriers. Completely anonymous, with unnamed trackers, anyone can receive a notification in case they have had a high chance of being in contact with someone with the virus.
